What a stunning setting to relax and spend time in! The accommodation offers everything you could possibly want, clean, well equipped and private. In addition there are breath-taking grounds to soak up the sun and chill out! The surrounding villages and towns are nearby so this is a perfect base to explore the Vendee. You can please yourself with your private entrance to the accommodation and can 'come and go' as you please as you have your own facilities so you do not keep bumping into the owners. However, this is certainly not a problem as they are so friendly and helpful. The English owners make you feel at home and are a fountain of knowledge. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. We would love to visit again!

The accommodation was clean and comfortable we were made to feel at ease and welcome by our hosts. We would recommend this B&B to our friends and family and if we ever return to this beautiful area of France we will definitely stay here again.

A fantastic chambres d'hotes .We have stayed here several times and it is the best Gite that we have ever found . The accommodation is superb and the location ideal as others have described . A visit to the Puy de Fou is an incredible experience for all ages . Don’t miss it . But what makes this Gite very special are the owners , Elle and Malcolm , an English couple who have lived here for many years . Absolutely fluent in French they are completely integrated into the local community and are a mine of information on the local attractions – where to eat and what to see , and the history of the region . They are very warm , hospitable and helpful in every way in making the most of this wonderful region .

Stunning position at edge of village with lovely gardens and even its own small lake!,and a vey warm welcome on arrival from hosts Malcolm & Ellen (English so no worries re my inadequate French!) Beautiful rooms with own en suite bathroom very high standard and extremely comfortable, have stayed here twice and ideal location to visit the wonderful Vendee coast& of course the Pay de Fou and other surrounding attractions ,a gem of a find

The accomodation was really excellent, clean, private and in a lovely location . The owners ( English) were most accomodating and helpful in every way. The Gite was in an ideal position for the coast, the Puy du Fou,and major cities as Nantes and la Roche sur yon. Will be back soon!

Absolutely delightful. Beautiful rooms, very clean and spacious.
Great bathrooms and comfy beds. The breakfasts are everything you could wish for. The hospitality of Ellen and Malcolm is fantastic. They even speak english. The ideal place to absorb thereal france, in a seldom explored area of the busy main tourist routes. The Vendee is captivating, the lifestyle idyllic, the local communities so friendly and accomodating. Within easy reach of the coast (40mins) Nantes (45mins) La Roche sur yon (30mins)
