Petite Cantinelle Gites
In the foothills of the Pyrénées in South Western France, the beautifully restored gîtes (2 x 2 bedroom gites max 4 guests each) of Petite Cantinelle are equipped to a high standard and provide the perfect country escape all year round - whether activity based or for pure relaxation. Located in the unspoilt Vallée de la Lèze in one of the most stunning, and relatively undiscovered, departments in France - the Ariège Pyrénées (09). Enjoy famous prehistoric sites and parks, grottos, chateaux, and literally hundreds of mountain walks, golf ,skiing (lake and snow), rafting, fishing, canoeing, parapenting, hot air ballooning and even an underground river are just some of the nearby facilities and activities. We're near to some well known towns and cities - you can choose to loose yourself or join in some of the fun! There’s a great choice of shops, restaurants and lively markets. During the Summer months, there's a great choice of local fêtes and carnivals. Easy access to Andorra and the Cathar country - the stuff of legends based on both fact and some fiction! (Da Vinci Code & Labyrinth). Climb up to some amazing hilltop castles and fortresses - all with breathtaking views over this friendly and welcoming land.
