Les Deux Maisons
Old stone semi-detached house near Lucon and the beautiful vendee coast. House sleeps 2-6 in two bedrooms, one with double bed and the other with bunks, and a sofa bed in the salon, which has the TV with DVD and plenty to watch or read (or bring your own). There is also a dining room, kitchen and shower room with toilet and wash basin. The dining room has original stone walls and is well furnished in pine. The kitchen has a full sized gas cooker and fridge, plus microwave, toaster and everything else you'll need for cooking and eating at home. Use of a washing machine and tumble drier is available on request. The large rear garden has the swimming and paddling pools, sun loungers, table and chairs, plus garden games. Children must be accompanied by an adult to play in the pools. There are several fruit trees and safe, private parking. We are ideally situated for all manner of interesting things to do and places to see. A useful website is www.sudvendeetourisme.com. La Rochelle and Nantes airports are both close by and the main ports are at most about seven hours away. Please note for your comfort this is a non-smoking gite. Also we cannot accomodate animals.
